Speedify Live Activities And Dynamic Island Integration on iPhone

This article explains how Speedify uses Live Activities and Dynamic Island on iPhone to show you real-time connection information without opening the app.

Live Activities

If your iPhone is running iOS 16.1 or newer, Speedify supports Live Activities, which lets you see connection information directly on your lock screen without unlocking your phone.

What you'll see

When you're using Speedify's Pair & Share feature, the Live Activity notification shows you two things at a glance:

  • The number of devices currently using your iPhone's 4G/5G cellular connection
  • The Speedify server you're connected to

Enabling or disabling Live Activities

The first time the Live Activity notification appears on your lock screen, you'll be prompted to allow or disable it. You can also change this setting at any time through the Settings app on your iPhone.

Dynamic Island

If you have an iPhone with Dynamic Island (iPhone 14 Pro and later), Speedify takes advantage of it to show your Pair & Share status right at the top of your screen, in addition to the lock screen Live Activity.

What you'll see

While Pair & Share is active, a Speedify indicator appears in the Dynamic Island. Tap and hold on the Dynamic Island to expand it and see more connection details.
