Checking Connection Status in Speedify

This article explains how you can tell whether Speedify is connected on your device and confirm that your Internet traffic is going through Speedify, both from your phone's status bar and from within the Speedify app.

On iOS

When Speedify is connected, your iPhone's status bar displays a small VPN badge - a rectangle with the letters "VPN." This lets you know Speedify is running and routing your Internet traffic.

On Android

On Android phones, Speedify shows two icons in the status bar when it's connected:

• The Speedify "S" logo
• A key icon - this indicates that Speedify is acting as a VPN (Virtual Private Network) and is routing your Internet traffic.

In the Speedify App

You can also check your connection status directly inside the Speedify app. When Speedify is connected:

• The On/Off switch will appear green.
• The text above the Speedify server you are connected to will say "Connected."
