Speedify Router License Activation or Transfer

This article explains how to activate your Speedify for Routers license on a new router, or move an existing license from one router to another.

Let's Get Started

Once you install Speedify on your OpenWrt or GL.iNet router, you'll be greeted with a sign-in screen where you can log in and activate your router license right away.

If you're activating a different router using the same license, or moving the license to a new device, Speedify may tell you that you don't have a router license. This happens because the license is still associated with your previous router.

Follow the steps below to unassign the license from the old router and activate it on your new one.

Step 1

Go to my.speedify.com and sign in to your account. Find your Speedify for Routers license and click Manage Routers.

Step 2

You'll see a list of the router devices currently associated with your license. Find the old router and click either Unassign License or Remove to free up the license slot.

Step 3

Return to your new router's Speedify interface and sign in. Your router license will now activate successfully.
