What is a Speedify Router License?

Router Licenses are stand-alone subscriptions that you can purchase to allow you to use Speedify on your OpenWrt or Powered by Speedify device.

Router devices do not use standard Speedify licenses, because routers are unique in that a single device can represent a large number of devices on their network, and typically use very large amounts of data, sometimes terabytes per month through the Speedify Speed Servers. The enhanced performance and enterprise integration features in the Powered by Speedify releases of Speedify

You do not need to have a different subscription, BUT you can have both a Router license and regular Individual, Families or Teams subscription on the same account if you want to use Speedify on all your devices.

What plans are there?

We currently offer both 1 TB / month and 3TB / month plans for Router Licenses, each being available for Monthly or Yearly Recurring Basis.

When do you need a Speedify Router License?

If you're running OpenWrt or a Powered by Speedify router sold by third party vendors, you will need to purchase a Router License.
