Unpaired Devices: Devices that you haven't paired with yet. You can tap on them to send a pairing request and use Pair & Share between the two.
Paired Devices: Devices that you paired with. You can see their status and whether you are Sharing to, Receiving from, or Sharing and Receiving the connection with the device in question. Tapping on any of the devices will bring up the connection menu for that device. You can learn more here.
Display Name: This is the name that other people running Speedify with Pair & Share will see when they scan for devices to pair with. It is never sent back to the servers or any third party. And most importantly, you can use emojis! ๐
Sharing: Whether you are sharing your Cellular connection with other devices on the same network. This option is only available to mobile (Android and iOS) users who have a cellular data plan with tethering. Data shared with other peers will count as tethering or hotspot data on your cellular plan.
Receiving: Whether this device will look for other devices that are Sharing cellular data on the same network and use the shared data.
Pairing Requests: The behavior when someone attempts to Pair with your device. There are three options:
Ask (Default): Every time a device attempts to pair for the first time, ask you if you wish to accept.
Automatically Accept: Always allow any pairing attempts.
Ignore: Do not respond to pairing requests. You will not be notified and the other devices will not be able to share or receive from your device.
Pair My Devices: Controls whether or not Speedify should automatically pair the device with other devices on your account that are also on the same local network.
Paired Data Usage: The data your device shared and used from other devices.
Shared: The data your device shared with other devices.
Received: The data your device received from other devices.
QR Code: Tapping on the QR code icon in the top right corner will bring up a QR code you can scan with other devices to pair them with the device in question.
Show on Dashboard: Toggles between showing the Pair & Share banner and connections on the dashboard and hiding them.
