Speedify Installation and Setup on Fire TV

This article walks you through how to install and set up Speedify on your Amazon Fire TV device so you can enjoy buffer-free streaming and protect your online privacy.


Requirements

Note: Speedify is supported only on Fire TV devices running Fire OS 7 or 8. Compatible devices include Fire 7 (9th and 12th gen), Fire HD 8 (8th, 10th, and 12th gen), Fire HD 8+ (10th gen), Fire HD 10/10+ (11th and 13th gen), and Fire Max 11. Speedify is not supported on Fire TV Stick 4K Select models running Vega OS.

Let's Get Started

Step 1

Search for the Downloader app in the Amazon Appstore on your Fire TV and install it. The Downloader app lets you pull files directly onto your Fire TV from a URL.

Step 2

Open the Downloader app and enter the following URL in the address field:

https://speedify.com/firetv

Tap Go. The Downloader app will begin downloading the Speedify APK file.

Once the download is complete, follow the on-screen prompts to install Speedify. Make sure your Fire TV is set to allow apps from unknown sources, otherwise the installation will be blocked.

Once installation is complete, open Speedify. You'll see a prompt asking to allow a VPN connection request, as shown below. Tap OK to continue.

Step 5

Log in with the email address and password from your Speedify account.

Speedify will automatically detect your Wi-Fi connection and start using it. By default, Speedify connects you to the fastest available server. If you want to access region-restricted services, select a server in the appropriate country from the server list.

While Speedify is active, you'll see a key icon at the top of your Fire TV screen, indicating that your connection is protected.
