How can I combine two Wi-Fi networks on a PC?

With Speedify, it’s easy to combine 2 Wi-Fi network connections on your PC. In this article, we are going to walk you through how to do it.

For best results, make sure that the 2 networks you use come from different sources. In order to connect to 2 Wi-Fi networks at the same time, you may need to purchase one or more USB Wi-Fi adapters (prices start at under $10). If you're using a laptop PC, you already have an internal Wi-Fi adapter you can use.

Step 1: Connect and install the external USB Wi-Fi adapter(s).
Just plug in the adapter in a USB port of your PC. Windows will automatically detect and install the proper drivers for it. If you're using an older version of Windows, you might be prompted to search for drivers and install them. Please follow the manufacturer's instructions in this case.
To verify it has been successfully installed, go to Network Connections (Windows key + X - “Network Connections”) and click on “Wi-Fi” on the left side of the window. You should see 2 listed adapters (Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi 2).

Step 2: Connect your built-in Wi-Fi adapter ("Wi-Fi") to the first network.
If you were previously connected to Wi-Fi, you don't need to do this. If not, just click on the Wi-Fi icon near the clock in the lower right section of your screen. Select your internal adapter from the drop-down menu and connect to the first network.

Step 3: Connect your external USB Wi-Fi adapter ("Wi-Fi 2") to the second network.
Click on the Wi-Fi icon near the clock in the lower right section of your screen. Select your external USB Wi-Fi adapter from the drop-down menu and connect to the second network.

Step 4: Start Speedify on your PC and combine the two Wi-Fi connections.
When you launch Speedify, the software automatically detects the two connections. You will see them each contained in a Connection Bubble near the top of the Dashboard.

Note: As long as you have available hotspots, you can use even more USB Wi-Fi adapters. Speedify is not limited to 2 connections. It can combine all available Wi-Fi connections.
