Can I combine Starlink Internet with 4G or 5G cellular on my Windows PC? You can, with Speedify
This article explains how to use Speedify on your Windows PC to combine your Starlink internet connection with a 4G/5G cellular connection for faster upload and download speeds and a more reliable connection overall.
What You'll Need
- A Starlink dish and router, set up and providing a Wi-Fi network
- A USB cellular adapter (also called a USB modem or dongle) with an active 4G/5G data plan
- A Windows PC with an available USB port
- Speedify (free to download)
Let's Get Started
Step 1
Make sure your Starlink dish and router are fully set up according to the instructions included in your Starlink package. Once your Starlink Wi-Fi network is active, connect your Windows PC to it. To connect, click the Wi-Fi icon in the lower-right corner of the taskbar (system tray). Select your Starlink Wi-Fi network from the list and enter your password.
Step 2
Plug your USB cellular adapter into an available USB port on your PC. To confirm your cellular connection is active, click the network icon in the lower-right corner of the taskbar (system tray) and check whether a "Cellular" tile appears in the pop-up panel.
Step 3
Download and install Speedify on your Windows PC. Once Speedify is running, it will automatically detect both your Starlink connection and your 4G/5G cellular connection and begin combining them, giving you faster upload and download speeds and a more stable connection. You can manage settings, view per-connection statistics, and set data limits for individual connections by clicking on any connection from the Speedify dashboard or by navigating through the main Settings menu.
Did you know - if you need to keep several devices connected in areas with limited coverage, Speedify's Pair & Share feature lets you share a cellular connection between multiple devices wirelessly. It's useful at event venues, remote locations, or anywhere Wi-Fi is slow or unavailable.
