Can I combine Starlink Internet with Ethernet on my Windows PC? Yes, with Speedify!

This article explains how to use Speedify to combine your Starlink Wi-Fi connection with a wired Ethernet connection on your Windows PC, giving you faster upload and download speeds and a more reliable internet connection.

What You'll Need

  • A Windows PC with a built-in Ethernet port, or a USB to Ethernet adapter
  • A Starlink dish, set up and connected to your Wi-Fi network
  • An Ethernet cable connected to a router or modem
  • Speedify installed on your PC

Let's Get Started

Step 1

Make sure your Starlink dish is set up according to the instructions included in the package. This includes configuring your Starlink Wi-Fi network (SSID) and password.

Step 2

Connect your Windows PC to the Starlink Wi-Fi network.

  1. Click the Wi-Fi symbol in the lower-right corner of the taskbar (system tray).
  2. If Wi-Fi is off, click the Wi-Fi tile in the lower-left of the pop-up menu to turn it on.
  3. Select the Wi-Fi network associated with your Starlink connection from the list.
  4. Enter the password to connect.

You should see your Starlink network listed as "Connected" in the Wi-Fi pop-up once the connection is established.

Step 3

Connect an Ethernet cable between your router or modem and the Ethernet port on your PC.

Note: If your PC doesn't have a built-in Ethernet port, use a USB to Ethernet adapter instead. Windows will detect it automatically in most cases.

In most cases, Windows will connect to the Ethernet network automatically. You should see a new network connection appear in your network settings.

Step 4

Download and install Speedify on your PC if you haven't already. You can download Speedify from the Speedify website.

Once Speedify is running, it will automatically detect both your Starlink Wi-Fi connection and your Ethernet connection. Speedify will then combine both internet connections, routing your internet traffic across them simultaneously for faster upload and download speeds and improved reliability.
