Can I combine two Wi-Fi connections on my PC? Yes, with Speedify!
This article explains how to use Speedify on your Windows PC to combine two separate Wi-Fi connections for faster upload and download speeds and a more reliable internet connection. All you need is a USB Wi-Fi adapter and Speedify installed on your PC.
What You'll Need
- A Windows PC with a built-in Wi-Fi connection
- A USB Wi-Fi adapter
- Access to two separate Wi-Fi networks
- Speedify installed on your PC
Let's Get Started
Step 1: Connect Your PC to the First Wi-Fi Network
Using your PC's built-in Wi-Fi connection, connect to your first Wi-Fi network. Click the network icon in the taskbar (bottom-right corner of your screen), select your desired network from the list, and enter the password if prompted.
You should see the network name appear as "Connected" under the Wi-Fi section of the taskbar menu.
Step 2: Connect a USB Wi-Fi Adapter for the Second Network
Plug the USB Wi-Fi adapter into an available USB port on your PC. Windows will typically detect the adapter automatically and install the necessary drivers. Once it is recognized, click the network icon in the taskbar again. You should now see a second Wi-Fi option corresponding to your adapter. Connect that adapter to your second Wi-Fi network.
Step 3: Download and Install Speedify
Download and install Speedify on your PC if you haven't already. Once Speedify is running, it will automatically detect both of your active Wi-Fi connections and begin combining them. You don't need to configure anything manually.
