Connection Issues with Speedify on GL.iNet Routers

If you are using Speedify on a GL.iNet router and have no internet connection while Speedify is connected, the issue is likely caused by a conflict between Speedify's Performance Enhancing Proxy (PEP) and GL.iNet's Network Acceleration feature.

Symptoms

You may be experiencing this conflict if:

  • Speedify connects, but you have no internet access
  • Disconnecting Speedify restores your internet connection
  • Disabling either PEP or Network Acceleration resolves the issue

Solution

To resolve this, disable Network Acceleration on your GL.iNet router. This lets you keep Speedify's PEP enabled, which is the recommended configuration.

Follow GL.iNet's guide on disabling Network Acceleration: GL.iNet Network Acceleration
