Speedify App Bypass
This article explains how App Bypass works and how to exclude individual apps from the Speedify tunnel, so one app can reach the internet over your device's regular connection while everything else stays bonded and encrypted.
How App Bypass Works
Speedify sends all of your internet traffic through an encrypted virtual private network (VPN) tunnel and bonds it across every connection your device has. A few apps don't want that treatment: a banking app that flags VPN traffic, a work tool that expects a local IP address, or a service that does its own routing.
App Bypass excludes those apps by name. Traffic from a bypassed app leaves your device directly over its main connection, skipping Speedify's encryption, channel bonding, and failover. Every other app on the device keeps the full Speedify connection.
Note: A bypassed app gives up more than encryption. It also gives up bonding and automatic failover, so if the connection it lands on drops, that app's traffic drops with it. Bypass only the apps that need it.
Where to Find App Bypass
Open the ≡ menu in the upper left corner of the Speedify dashboard. Scroll to the Privacy section and open the Bypass menu, then Custom. On Android, the option will be in the Custom menu as Apps, on other platforms, you need to go one menu deeper to Add Bypass Group > Apps

Which Platforms Have App Bypass
- Android: Speedify 12.1 and later.
- Windows and Linux: Speedify 17.2 and later.
On platforms without App Bypass, use the Custom Bypass under the basic Speedify Bypass feature instead. Custom Bypass works on domains, IP addresses, and ports rather than on apps, so you can route a specific service around the tunnel without excluding the whole application.
