Sharing the Speedify Connection via Wi-Fi on Windows PC
This article explains how to share your Speedify connection with other devices over Wi-Fi using Connectify Hotspot on a Windows PC. This is useful when you want other devices, like phones or tablets, to benefit from Speedify's bonded connection without installing Speedify on each one.
Let's Get Started
Step 1
Purchase and install Connectify Hotspot PRO or MAX. While a free trial of Connectify Hotspot is available, sharing 3G/4G cellular or Ethernet connections as a Wi-Fi network requires the PRO or MAX version.
Step 2
Start Speedify and connect to a server. Make sure Speedify is actively connected before moving on, so Connectify Hotspot can detect it as an available internet source.
Step 3
Open Connectify Hotspot and select Wi-Fi Hotspot as the hotspot type.

Step 4
In the Internet to Share drop-down, make sure Speedify is selected. Each adapter in the list has an icon indicating what type of internet connection it is. Select the one that corresponds to Speedify.

Step 5
Select Routed Network Access as the sharing mode. A VPN connection like Speedify can't be bridged, so Routed Network Access is the correct option here.

Step 6
Give your hotspot a name (SSID) and a password. This is the network name other devices will see when searching for Wi-Fi, and the password they'll use to join. Your Connectify hotspot works just like any standard Wi-Fi network.
Step 7
Click Start Hotspot. Connectify will begin broadcasting your Wi-Fi network, and any device that joins it will route its internet traffic through Speedify.
Did you know - Speedify works on routers too, so every device on your network can benefit from faster upload and download speeds without needing to install anything on each device individually. Learn more about Speedify for Routers.
