Can I combine two Ethernet connections on my PC? You can, with Speedify
This article explains how to combine two Ethernet connections on your Windows PC using Speedify, so you can get faster upload and download speeds and a more reliable internet connection.
What You'll Need
- A Windows PC with at least one built-in Ethernet port
- A USB to Ethernet adapter for the second wired connection
- Two Ethernet cables
- Access to two connections from different providers with separate routers
- Speedify installed on your PC
Let's Get Started
Step 1
Connect the first Ethernet cable between your router or modem and the built-in Ethernet port on your PC. In most cases, Windows will detect the connection and connect to the internet automatically.
If the connection doesn't come up on its own, see How to Connect Your PC to Wired Ethernet for troubleshooting steps.
Step 2
Plug your USB to Ethernet adapter into an available USB port on your PC, then connect the second Ethernet cable between the adapter and another router or modem. Windows should recognize the adapter and bring up the second internet connection automatically.
Step 3
Download and install Speedify on your PC. Once it's running, Speedify will automatically detect both Ethernet connections and start combining them, giving you faster upload and download speeds, improved stability, and built-in security.
Did you know - Speedify can combine more than just two wired connections. You can mix Ethernet connections with a Wi-Fi connection or a 4G/5G cellular and even satellite connections all at once for even faster speeds and better reliability. Learn more about how Speedify works.
