What You'll Need

Step 1

Connect your USB cellular dongle to a USB port on your PC.

To confirm the dongle connection is active, click the network icon in the lower-right area of the taskbar (systray) and check whether a "Cellular" tile appears in the network list.

Step 2

Enable Personal Hotspot on your iPhone. Personal Hotspot lets you share your iPhone's cellular data connection with other devices over Wi-Fi, USB, or Bluetooth.

On your iPhone, go to Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot (or Settings > Personal Hotspot) and toggle it on.

Step 3

Connect your iPhone to your PC using a USB cable. iTunes must be installed for Windows to recognize the tethered connection - if you haven't installed it yet, download the latest version of iTunes before continuing.

Once connected, your iPhone may show an alert asking "Trust This Computer?" — tap Trust to proceed.

Open iTunes and confirm that your iPhone appears in the device list. If your PC doesn't recognize it, try a different USB cable.

Your iPhone should automatically start sharing its internet connection with your PC. Click the network icon in the lower-right corner of the taskbar - your iPhone should appear near the top of the network list.

Step 4
