Speedify Getting Started Guide

This article walks you through the main Speedify dashboard so you know exactly what you're looking at the first time you open Speedify.

Speedify dashboard overview

The Speedify Dashboard

When you open Speedify, you'll land on the main dashboard. Here's what each section does.

1. Settings

Click the icon in the top left corner to open the Speedify Settings. From there you can manage Servers, Sessions, Notifications, and Privacy preferences.

2. On/Off Switch

This toggle lets you quickly connect or disconnect Speedify. When connected, Speedify is routing your traffic through the Speedify servers, combining your internet connections for faster upload and download speeds as well as encrypting your internet traffic.

3. Status

The status section shows you what state Speedify is currently in, along with the server you're connected to and for how long.

4. Real-Time Graphs

These graphs show live performance data for each of your internet connections. Use the toggles to switch between three views:

  • Networks - how much data each connection is carrying
  • Traffic - performance of all of your available connections
  • Latency - the response time of each connection
  • Packet Loss - how much data is being dropped on each connection

5. Internet Connections

Any internet connections available on your device will appear here automatically. Click a connection's label to open detailed statistics and settings for that specific connection - including whether to prioritize, limit, or disable it.

6. Completed Streams

This section logs past streams and shows you how and when Speedify stepped in to keep things running smoothly. It's a useful way to see Speedify's impact on your past live streams, calls etc.

7. Streams

When Speedify is in Streaming mode, any active real-time streams appear at the bottom of the dashboard. The Active Streams count tells you how many streams Speedify is currently optimizing.

8. Statistics

The Statistics section gives you a summary of how Speedify has performed over time. You can view stats for the past 24 hours, the current month, or all time. Metrics include:

  • Top upload and download speeds
  • Connections rescued
  • Captive portal (a network that requires you to log in before getting internet access) assists
