Connecting to Dedicated Speed Servers in Speedify

This article explains how to connect to a Dedicated Server in Speedify. If you or your organization has a Dedicated Server set up, you can select it directly from the Speedify app, on both desktop and mobile, so all of your internet traffic is routed exclusively through that private server.

What Is a Dedicated Speed Server?

Unlike Speedify's public servers, which are shared across all users, a Dedicated Server is a private server that only you (and, if applicable, members of your Speedify for Teams or Speedify for Families plan) can access. This means you're not sharing server resources with anyone else, which results in more consistent speeds and more predictable performance.

Speedify Dedicated Servers are a good fit if you need a static IP address, want to use port forwarding, or require a guaranteed level of reliability for professional use cases like live video streaming.

Let's Get Started

Step 1

Open the Speedify app on your device. Tap or click the ☰ icon in the top left corner to open the Settings menu. Now scroll down to Servers.

Step 2

From the Server menu, scroll to the Dedicated Servers section. If you have one or more Dedicated Servers assigned to your account, you'll see all of them listed here.

Step 3

Tap or click the Dedicated Server you want to connect to.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

Once you select a Dedicated Speed Server, Speedify will always connect you to that server, it won't automatically switch you to a public server. You can still browse and select public servers from the list below the Dedicated Servers section if you ever need to switch back.

On desktop platforms (Windows, macOS, and Linux) and Routers, you can also connect to a specific Dedicated Server using the Speedify Command Line Interface (CLI).
