Equipment Required for Adding Connections in Speedify

Adding more internet connections to your device is possible. Here are the things that you need to have so Speedify can combine your internet connections.

NOTE: Keep in mind, Wi-Fi and Ethernet networks that are connected to the same router or network cannot be combined for increased bandwidth using Speedify, because they both share the same upstream network. Also, smartphones are limited to one Wi-Fi or one cellular connection at a time. However, on computers - Windows, Mac, and Linux, you can use more than one connection. Here are the things you need to add more connection sources to your computer.

Cellular USB dongle with an active data connection. This is needed if you want to add a 3G, 4G, LTE, or 5G USB dongle connection to your computer.

USB to Wi-Fi network adapter. This is needed if you want to add a Wi-Fi connection to your computer.

USB to Ethernet or Lightning to Ethernet adapter. This is needed if you want to add an Ethernet connection to your computer.

Smartphone with an active cellular or Wi-Fi connection. This is needed if you want your phone's cellular connection to be used.

USB or Lightning cable to connect your smartphone to your computer. This is needed if you wish to want to use your smartphone's internet to your computer via USB tethering.

Lightning to USB adapter. This is needed if your computer does not have a USB port.

USB Hub. This is needed if you want to add more USB connections to your computer.
