Setting up Wireless WAN

If you want Speedify on your router to use a Wi-Fi connection, you need to switch the wireless radio in your router from an access point to a client so it could connect to a Wi-Fi network.


Setting up a Wireless WAN (WWAN) from WiFi


  1. In LuCI, go to the Network -> Wireless menu

  1. Select which radio you want to use as a Wireless WAN (WWAN) and click Scan

  1. Select which WiFi network you want to connect to as a WAN

  1. Under Interface Configuration, select the Client mode

  1. Under Network > Interfaces, ensure that this network is working by checking that it has an IP address and some traffic and configure a unique Gateway Metric for this network.


Speedify will now use this WWAN for Bonding.
