What is the maximum speed that I can get with Speedify?
Wondering how fast your internet can get with Speedify - or whether running a VPN will slow you down? Speedify combines your internet connections (Wi-Fi, 4G/5G cellular, Ethernet, Starlink and other satellite) into one faster, more reliable connection, so the maximum speed you see usually depends on the Speedify server you connect to rather than on the app itself. This article explains the speeds you can expect from each type of Speedify server.
Public Speedify Servers
Speedify's public servers typically offer speeds in the range of 200–300 Mbps. That said, the actual speed you experience can vary depending on a few factors:
- The location of the server you're connected to
- The hosting provider running that server
- The overall performance and load of the server
- How well your device can reach the server from your location
Some public servers support faster speeds than 300 Mbps, and some may be slower.
Speedify Dedicated Servers
Speedify Dedicated Servers support speeds up to 1 Gbps. Dedicated servers are a great option if you need more consistent, high-performance throughput than what public servers provide. As well as port forwarding and a static IP.
Speedify Self-Hosted Servers
Speedify Self-Hosted Servers give you the ability to host your own server and, depending on the hardware or the provider you choose, you can get exactly the performance you need.
