Can I combine my Android and iPhone Internet connections on my PC? Yes, with Speedify!
This article explains how to use both your iPhone and Android phone as tethered internet sources on a Windows PC, then combine those connections with Speedify for faster upload and download speeds and a more reliable connection.
What You'll Need
- A Windows PC
- An iPhone with an active cellular data plan
- An Android phone with an active cellular data plan
- Two USB cables (one for each phone)
- iTunes installed on your PC (required for iPhone USB tethering)
- Speedify installed on your PC
Let's Get Started
Step 1
Enable the Personal Hotspot on your iPhone. A Personal Hotspot lets your iPhone share its 4G/5G cellular connection with other devices over USB, Wi-Fi, or Bluetooth.
Go to Settings > Cellular > Personal Hotspot (or Settings > Personal Hotspot on some versions of iOS) and flip the switch to on. From this screen you can verify your phone's name, which will appear as the Wi-Fi network name (SSID), and set a password.

Step 2
Connect your iPhone to your PC using a USB cable. Before doing this, make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed, since it includes the drivers Windows needs to recognize your iPhone over USB.
Once connected, if your iPhone shows an alert asking "Trust This Computer?", tap Trust. Open iTunes and confirm your device appears there. If Windows doesn't recognize the iPhone, try a different USB cable.
Your iPhone should begin sharing its connection automatically. To verify, click the network icon in the lower-right corner of the taskbar. Your iPhone should appear near the top of the network list.

Step 3
Connect your Android phone to your PC using a second USB cable, then enable USB tethering on the Android phone. After connecting, swipe down from the top of the screen, then touch and hold Hotspot. Turn on USB tethering.
Alternatively, go to Settings > Connections > Mobile Hotspot and Tethering and enable USB tethering from there.
To confirm the connection is active, click the network or Wi-Fi icon in the lower-right area of the taskbar. Tethered devices are recognized as wired (Ethernet) connections, so you should see an entry labeled Network # that is now connected. That is your tethered Android phone.

Step 4
Download and install Speedify on your PC from speedify.com/download. Once Speedify is running, it will automatically detect both tethered connections and combine them, giving you faster upload and download speeds along with a more stable, secure connection.
Did you know - Speedify can combine more than two internet connections at once, not just tethered phones. You can add a Wi-Fi connection to the mix alongside your iPhone and Android phone for even faster upload and download speeds.
